| I need a little help with a mod or a site guru. I got some ban error 52 crap. It is a registration error and I am banned. I cannot gat anyone to email me back and let me know anything. I tried another email account and user name and it looked like it was going to work. The activation link worked and it said try to log in. Then the you have been banned and never lifted crap came up. Glocktalk and AOL don't go well together. I tried off and on for a year or so when I had AOL and I couldn't get the activation e-mail through AOL, even with my spam settings on the lowest setting. Then, when I tried to get my accout activated after I dumped AOL, it wouldn't let me because I had that AOL problem. One moderator made an attempt, one time, to help me, but it didn't work and he wouldn't respond to another e-mail. Forget about Glocktalk and stick around here. The discussions here are actually worth reading! |

I'm a returning poster there (spring 98). I changed email addresses and comps since I first registered there and lost my password also. I recently registered undera new handle and unfortunately could not post when logged in for that name. Good luck for anyone who tries to go there.

| GT was a great site for years but a year or so ago Eric (site owner) just got to be too much with his favoritism of some of the posters, his hysterical defense of Ben at Glockmeister, and inflexibility. The site got to be so politically correct it was just stupid, so I just bailed out. Haven't been back since. |
| Thanks for the heads up on the situation. I have tried to email the webmaster from that link repeatedly from two different addresses, one is yahoo, and nothing. I aint that concerned with it after hearing from you guys here. I'll just be happy with my plastic and hang here instead of browsing there. |
That's the problem I have. I registered, did everything and when I try to logon it won't work. It's to much hassle. I'd rather spend my time surfing ARFCOM than trying to figure out how to get on a mediocre site at best anyway. The discussions here are alot better and they cover everything GT has and more. |
+1 i stopped trying after the first few weeks...i will admit though, whenever i can surf there, i do find a coupel interesting threads, but not too many |
| Don't waste your time trying to get board access. I never received an activation email after several weeks of attempts and emailing the webmaster and moderators. Maybe it's a "click" or they really do not give a *hit about new members but it's a waste of time trying. |
