| Alright for some fucking reason I have came to the conclusion I need a sig. I strictly shoot M&P 9mm currently and am really wanting a Sig 9mm. What is he differences in a 226, 229 or any of the other 9mm full size offerings. I want to try the SA/DA and see if I can shoot it well enough to live with it. I will mainly be using it for range use until I feel comfortable enough to use it in eithe IDPA, HD, or for carry. I have pretty large hands which is why I don't shoot a Glock. So tell me what I need. |

So tell me what I need. p226 in some flavor with the larger grips on them. The DA/SA pull on the SIG is the best one I have I have ever tried. The DA is long but very smooth and with the ergonomics of the gun easy to keep on target. I practice the DA when dry firing, I don't really dry fire practice the SA, because to me honestly, once you master the DA on it, the SA is like cheating. My honest opinion is that if you have written of DA/SA in the past the SIG is worth trying because out of the box it is that much better. p229 is going to be somewhat better for carry. Also if you can't live with the DA/SA, you could consider the DAK trigger, I have no experience with it to comment on it. |
