Years ago I think it was Smith that made a .22 DA revolver with a 4 inch barrel that had an interchangeable cylinder between .22 Mag, and .22 LR.

Can anyone tell me what model it was?

OR, can you help me identify a .22LR/.22Mag in double action?  I already have two in single action, but I'd love to have one in double action.

S&W model 48 could be had with two cylinders. The S&W model 63 could be had in either .22lr or .22mag but I don't remember if they made one with both cylinders.

S&W never made an interchangeable .22LR/.22mag wheelgun as far as I can research. Colt did with the New Frontier model & I believe Taurus did for a while as well.

The Colt was the first handgun I ever bought.

I've never seen a DA combo. Maybe someone can say if Ruger ever made one or not? Highly doubtful, as the cylinder stop on the frame is different for a mag versus LR version, thus a DA cylinder wouldn't be able to be changed out.

Blue Book only lists the 48 as a .22mag & 63 as .22LR only.

I own a 63.

The .22 magnum version of the Model 63 is the Model 651. I don't have a blue book (but you know what I think of them) so I have to rely initially on memory (which isn't always 100% anymore either) I used to own a Model 48 with both cylinders, though the accuracy with the .22lr cylinder was nothing to brag about.
