Hey Guys,

I'm having trouble with my g23 gen 4 slide locking back with rounds still in the magazine.  It is happening at about a rate of 1 per 30 rounds.  It is happening with different magazines and I am shooting left handed so my thumbs aren't hitting the slide stop.  The only things I have changed are the connector, smooth face trigger and bar and trigger spring.  Also, i did double check that the metal tension wire on the slide stop is under the roll pin in the side.  I did have an apex trigger in it and the slide was catching every 5 rounds or so.  I took that out and returned it.

I'd like to think it was something i have done during reassemble and not the gun.  I did have a guy at the LGS give it a quick look and he said it looked ok.  Is there anything else i could check or locate a good armorer or look into sending it back to Glock?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, just double checked.  The spring for the slide stop is under the locking block and pin.  Also, when i pull up on the slide stop it does snap down.

My last thought would be maybe a magazine problem and if its a known good magazine, maybe its a bad slidestop spring.
