I have an M&P pro 9mm 5". Sight radius of 7.125 shooting 124gr at 15 yards.

I am hitting 2.5" to 3" high with the 10-8 fiber optic front sight height .160"

Will the .180" front sight bring my group down 2.5"?

I should have ordered the recommended .160 to begin with but their site says that the .180 is sometimes needed with the longer barrel.

ETA: Fixed typos.

This is a similar triangles question. Convert everything to inches.

.02/7.125=x/(15*36)

X=1.515"

It looks like a 0.20" sight would do a bit better if you hold center.

For 3" low at 15 yards, you'd want a front sight .04" taller, so .200".
