| I am looking for a good night stand safe for my Glock. I would prefer a keyless entry, any suggestions and where to get it. |

Dont look back I picked up their basic model about 4 years ago, I love it! Batterys were still good after 4 years but I changed them anyway on the 1st of the year as I though it was a little over due. IIRC it was about $85 from an online vendor. |

Midway has quite a selection. I picked one with a keypad that has two shelves. Got one for each side of the bed. On mine, the keypad lights up as soon as you touch it, and the beeps can be turned off. After about 1 yr, it's been perfect. I don't recall exactly which one I got, but you'll probably find something that meets your needs. |

I'll be the only person here that had loads of problems with my GunVault. Takes tons of batteries, ate them like crazy. Had several instances when it wouldn't accept my commands and had to be opened with the key. In all fairness I apparantly got ahold of a bad one. However, I don't like to rely on batteries that can fail, so I got this one and absolutely love it: www.safetysafeguards.com/site/402168/product/2912-S-TD No batteries, no keys, built like a tank. Kinda pricey, but gives me much more peace of mind than what I had. |
Wow thats odd, I wonder if ther e was a defect? DId you send it back? I have had batteries going on 4 years where the beep didnt change pitch (low battery indicator) I would assume that something was wrong with you unit. |
