Don Williams, Jim Garthwaite, Cylinder & Slide, or Novak's Custom are all great Custom Shops for the Browning Hi Power.
My last Custom Hi Power was from Novak's and it's the best I've seen in a long time. Novak's is getting my business from here on out. My 2 cents ... |
| Lots of people won't touch them because the extractors that you can find are used, often times are not in good condition, and good luck finding one if you break it. I've worked on them, and they are no different to tune than a 1911 extractor. Were I in the smithing business, I too would not touch one. |
| My HiPower is currently with Alex Hamiliton of Ten Ring Precision. I'll post pics when I get it back. Reliability package, stippling front/back straps, Novak Tritiium sights, remove mag safety, extended safety lever, take down the hammer a tad and refinish in matte black. Also added VZ Gunner Grips. |
