I am looking for a set of custom checkered black grips for my High Power Practical.  Does anyone have a lead on a set you could share with me?

Thanks,
Adrian

I have a set of Uncle Mike's black checkered grips on my HP.  They are made of hard rubber and give a good gripping surface.  They are very similar to the old style wooden grips that Browning used.  I like them because they don't make the gun much wider and look good, too.  I'm not sure if Uncle Mike's makes these anymore.  The model # is 59508 if you want to try and locate some.

Ajax Grips out of Texas should have what you're wanting, IMO. Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Adrian

You can get Spegels either by contacting Craig directly or through Pick-a-grip.

Here are a couple HP grips Craig made. They are from Tulipwood but his Ebony grips would also be great.

I really dig the Navidrex grips. they are the same profile as the Spiegels and the Uncle Mikes , but with a thinner profile and they are made from Mikarta....

they are available through Brownells...

I have Spegels on my T-series HiPower.  The others have Navidrex micarta grips.  I like both.  Watch-Six
