I am thinking about a budget 1911 and saw the article this month in Shotgun News about the High Standard. The author made it sound like a good investment so I looked them up. I like the Executive model and am thinking about ordering one. Anyone care to share their experience or offer advice on it?

IIRC High Standard is just a Rock Island with a different rollmark.
