Okay guys once I pay off the Raging bull 444 I'm going to get myself a 1911 with all the bells and whistles and its a toss up between the two. I want a railed version of either and from what I've read theyre both accurate reliable guns. So Since I'm going to put a light/laser combo on it and punisher skull grips. Which do you guys think I should go for? The cheaper PT1911 or the Springer?

The SA is the better gun.  Others will come in here and say how great the Taurus is but I have shot one and it's OK but the SA is a better gun.  Better sights, better slide/frame fit, better grip safety fit and I can go on.  The Taurus is decent if you can't afford the SA (or don't want to) but I would save a little longer (if you need to) and get the SA.  I'm going from my experience.  I have owned many SA's and they have all been reliable, accurate shooters.  I won't knock the Taurus though, I have read a lot about them and they are decent shooters.

Well I already have a SA GI model. I was thinking that like all guns (except Jennings and its sister companies) the more the merrier. Ive been on both websites and I think I will go with the SA at first then farther down the road pick up the taurus.
