I just received some magazines from CDNN. They were advertised as 15-round South African military mags and on their base plates are the initials "KRD". The base plates have two small holes drilled in them, but I can't figure out how to remove the base plate to disassemble the magazines for cleaning. I've stuck a paper clip in the holes, but nothing happens. Can anyone out there give me some help? Much thanks. |

Take a very large hammer......................... Just kidding. Virtually all mags have baseplates that slide off the mag body. You might also be able to insert a paperclip into the mag body while pushing down on the follower with a pencil eraser to hold the recoil spring down & lift the follower up & out & the spring may be able to follow. |
