Went to get an FFL transfer today and saw a nice little pre-lock SW snubby, model 49. Paid 350. Supposedly 1950's vintage. How did I do? And does anyone know if it'll take +P rounds??

I seriously doubt the +P rating was around in the 50's so I would not run any of those rounds through it.

If it is a 50's era gun, it is not suitable for +P. Use of +P ammo will accelerate wear...a lot.
