Against a glock 19, Smith M&P Compact, XD Compact?
I love CZ rifles but have no experience with their handguns.
I was looking for a truck gun and maybe a bedside gun.

I am considering trading my M&P 40c for a P-07 Duty in .40. No one?

I have a P-07 in 9mm.  Nice quality, accurate out of the box. Trigger is very nice.  Unlike Glock it is DA/SA.  In SA the trigger is extremenly light.
No FTF or FTE.  Eats everything.   Price was good too.
While some think its ugly I think they look better than a glock.   The mags don't drop freely but I don't mind.  I think that has been fixed on newer models.

Just got mine 2 weeks ago in 9mm.
$448 OTD but I got raped on sales tax so that should be your upper limit.
Put 259 rounds through it. 200 brass, 50 steel cased, 9 HPs. No malfunctions. Great trigger. I really need a holster though.
Apparently finding night sights that fit is a bitch. Word is some CZ 75 sights work. I'm broke so It'll be a while before I get around to that.
16+1, decocker, rail, lanyard loop, polymer frame, steel slide. Plastic guide rod shouldn't be a problem but I heard of someone making stainless steel ones for like $25. that's low on the priority list but I'll get one for peace of mind.

I messed with one today. The SA trigger pull was the lightest I've ever felt. The DA was the most heavy I've ever felt though. I assume that issue can be solved with a trigger job though. I love how it feels in hand and I like the sight picture.

Are you up at Pawnee in those pictures?

I would not but that is opinion.  I had a PO7 when they first came out and let it go.  My CZ75 semi compact is my favorite handgun to shoot and the M&P is a very close second for me.  I just don't care for the plastic sights and hate to buy a hand gun and have to factor in $50+ to get metal sights.   The PO7 started as a 9mm and the 40 has only been out since last summer.  The M&P has worked out most of the bugs.  I wouldn't want to be a beta tester for the 40 PO7 like I and many others were for the 9mm PO7.  David

I agree it probably needs a trigger job - CZ claims 14# DA trigger.
Night sights are in order as well.

And yes, I'm at pawnee. It was packed last saturday so we were at one of the small pulloffs before you get to the cul-de-sac looking area.
