How many rounds will you put down range in your 1911(s) a year ?

Have you got a 1911 with 100,000 rounds or more ? Please, share a picture.

That is just in that gun I have 2 others I will put that much through between practice and matches in my  STI 40 and 38 super.  .
Lots of fun in USPSA  matches..

Usually 2-3k. Depends on cash flow. Broke college student :/.

Not more than 1,000rds through any single one.

Might change whenever I get a package from Miller Custom though, that sucker will get the shit shot out of it!

It's a gun and I bought it to shoot :) 2500 rds through my Colt SCG .45.

300 per month if I get to the range and if I feel like loading so rough guess around 2000.

I have several so I averaged the figure between the 3.  500 /yr was my poll.

I voted 2k since I've been shooting my glock 22lr conversion more since 45 is hard to find and expensive when it is found. I had enough to not buy any for a few years but after a 2 day pistol class next month it will be gone.

I've got one with a unknown number of rounds. It was a duty/swat gun for years before the owner gave it to me. I have rebuilt most of it though.

realisticly i will probably only put 1K through any one gun in 1years time. I don't get to shoot nearly as much as id wish to because of money,Time, and anything else that gets in the way of my happy place. that is a realistic # for me.

I buy around 20k bullets and primers a year and usually have a few hundred/couple thousand leftover before winter really slows down the shooting.

This includes what my wife and kids burn through, mostly my son and I but still.

Too easy to walk out on the backporch and ring some steel.

Only being home 4 months out of the year, I guesstimate that I put approximately 2k rds out of my 1911s alone...that's spread out among several 1911s.  Wish I could shoot them more, but I gotta spread the love among all my toys.

I do not think any of us could afford 100,000 rounds of 45ACP but if I ever end up making it to 100,000 you will be first to know.

Edgecrusher, you'll get there a whole lot faster reloading. Pictured is a 100,000+ round count 1911. Just off the top of my head I can think of at least three members in this forum that have 100,000 round count 1911s.

Between 500 and 750 just in range trips. More (probably double that) if I take a training class.
