Hey Any Glock Armorers... Well I managed to tear up my front sight on my G19, Glock was nice enough to send me two replacements and a bunch of those little pins that fit inside them, all for free. I pulled off my old front sight and put one of the new front sights in the slide, then I stuck one of the pins in the front sight and pushed it in as far is it would go, but it sticks out of the bottom of the sight a little bit. The original didn't stick out below the sight at all. Should this pin go in further? Or do I cut off the excess part of the pin? Also, I didn't use any locktight or glue to hold the pin in, should I have? It didn't look like the original used anything. |
COOL!
Yes, push it all the way in. The end of the pin should be slightly recessed of at least flush.

Yeah, they were great about it, I didn't even get a chance to ask what the price would be, and I expected to be charged since my G19 is so old. The guy on the phone just asked for my address and sent them out. I can't seem to get the pin to go in any further so I think I will try to trim it slightly so it is flush as you suggest. Thanks for the response! |
