I understand that some Warrior's and some of the early SIS's do not have the Swartz.  If I am in the local shop how can I tell?  I locked the slide back and can see where the block engages in the slide, but I had nothing to compare it to and am not sure if I am correct.  Thanks in advance and I did try a search but nothing seemed to address this.

Swartz safety will be in the red circled area, looks like a smaller version of the pin below the red cricle

Would post comparison pic but my Springfield doesn't have one either and my other kimber that does is in a shop right now

OK perfect thanks!  I was looking on the slide,....this is a lot easier.  I will check them out tomorrow, and thanks for the quick info.

No problem. I wish someone would have pointed this out to me before I bought my first Kimber. Just another part to break and cause the gun not to go bang... Good luck with your purchase. I love my Warrior

If a Kimber has the schwartz safety, it will have a "II" in it's "name".
