Which do you prefer? Just got an AlienGear holster for my P07 and it has clips, they offer loop as well and just wondering what you guys seem to like better. Their clips are sort of a pain, but are very secure. Wondering if the loops will be easier, and just as secure?

I prefer clips and I carry in an MTAC. If I'm not working from home, I can't carry all day and have to put on/take off at least once. clips just make that easier. I've rarely an issue with them, although they're not perfect. If I start "noticing" the weapon, it's an indication that something is wrong down there and that usually means a clip has lost it's purchase on my belt and the holster is starting to ride up. I just push it down and reseat the clip and it's all good. Never had it be a real issue.

I run a CTAC with clips, and they're very secure for me. Have a Wild Bill's Concealment with loops, and the holster would migrate a bit but that was with a mediocre belt.

So for me, clips.

I use a Crossbred holster with the clips and had no problems of it moving. I have since been able to make them on my one and never had any problems with the clips.

If I am aiming for deep concealment and will be tucking my shirt in, I prefer J clips.
Generally I use loops on my IWB holsters.

I much prefer holsters with the dual leather snap loop design over the clip type. Easy on/ easy off and easier to move without the hastle of the spring clips. When I began CC I tried a few of the single clip holsters and they seemed to shift far more than I wanted. The dual loops do move somewhat but more of a flex with your body compared to a cant forward or rearward movement with a single clip type.

I like J clips since they don't tend to ride up after hours of moving around.

I prefer clips as well.  They are secure and are much easier to install or remove the holster.  If the can't angle is incorrect, you chose the wrong holster and having loops isn't the proper fix for that.

I finally had a clip get spring after 4 years of use on my Wild BIlls Concealment covert carry.  It's no bog deal though, they'll replace the clip for free.

This is pretty typical.  The hive votes "clips" except for one dissenting opinion, and the OP goes with "loops" once he finally gets the response he's looking for.

Why bother to even ask? Just get what you want anyway.

LOOPS ONLY !!

I've seen to many clips or hooks break !

That's the best tip I can give with my 30yrs of experience. That and don't tuck your shrit in.

There are also instructor that refuse to use them as well !
