| Cleaning the wife's Glock 23 today. On reassembly I forgot to put the recoil spring back in. Slid the slide on and didnot notice it until it was way back on the frame. SHIT! I will not go forward. Any tips or help would be very welcome, as she is due back home soon. Thanks Windjammer |
| Push the slide forward with your thumb until the rear of the slide is flush with the frame. Keep the slide in that position and pull the trigger to realease the striker. Move the slide back slightly and depress the slide lock and remove the slide from the frame. |

There is a fix I just can't remember what it is. I think the fix was posted above your post  Yep, that's the fix that I know. And I know from experience.
