But I have a few questions about the difference between Sigs and H&K. I own a H&P P30 in 9mm, and it shoots ok. I dont get out alot to shoot it since I got it because of my job, and I owned a P220 in 45. The two pistols are two different calibers so I really couldnt compare.. I am interested in another 9mm pistol and I am having a hasrd time making a decsion between a few sig and a few models of H&Ks. Is there a difference in reliability, durability? I like owning one brand of pistols and not mixing it up. except that I really like the P232. I have yet to see a H&K pistol like it. I am looking for advice. the models I am interested in are Sig- p226,P229, P250 2sum all in 9mm, and H&K p2000, P2000sk, USP9 , USP9c, and I guess another P30 but I dont really want another P30. So what do you think?
I thought I would need 1 9mm in my collection, just because. I now own 4. Two are valuable collector items, so they really don't count, but I do have an older CZ-75 and a stainless SIG 226. Both of them just keep on ticking like the Energizer bunny. The CZ has been worked on and has Bomar sights, but the SIG actually has a better trigger. I would need a Ransom Rest to determine which was more accurate. They are both very good. As you might guess, I prefer steel framed guns.
Hk is a much higher quality build and will be much more reliable, especially in a hard use environment. Since Cohen trashed Sig I would steer clear of any of products with their name on it. If you want a Sig for whatever reason, I would search out an older 226 which was a great pistol.
