Will P85/89 9mm magazines fit later model Ruger pistols and vise versa?  Thanks for any input.

The P85/89/93/94/95 mags are interchangeable.

The SR9 mags are new however, and won't fit the P series.

Obviously the different caliber mags only fit the matching guns.

I own a P89 and a P94 and regularly interchange mags.  I actually have no idea which mags came with which gun now. . .

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE between the P85, and the P85II, its replacement. All P series mags in the same caliber fit the other P series guns, EXCEPT the P85. They even interchange with the Ruger PC carbine, in 9 or 40. I know, its just a little tad of useless ruger knowledge, but its true. The P85 is a stand alone, w/ mag modifications that are slight. A crazed cousin owned P85II to P97 , all inclusive (Both P and KPs,- 85,85II,89,90,91,93,94,95,97,- PC9 in 9, 40, + 45 calibers) except the KP91 in .40. ETA: I made a mistake in posting: It was the FIRST P85 that has the different configured magazine. Everything after that was interchangeable. Glad I re-read this post.

Thanks for that info, 300yd!
There's a P85 in a local shop I've been eyeing to go along with my PC9.
That takes care of that!
