I just got my Timberwolf frame in and started to fit my parts into the frame.  I got all of my parts into the frame and put the G22 slide onto the frame and tried to dry fire the weapon.  No joy.  The trigger would pull all the way back, but the firing pin would not release.  Thinking back to my Glock Armorer 101 training, I figured out the problem.  Because I was using a 3.5lb connector and not the factory 5.5lb connector, the cruciform on the trigger bar was not lowering enough to release the firing pin.  The angle is steeper on the 5.5lb connector and lowered the cruciform enough to do the job.  Just an FYI for anyone wanting to use a Timberwolf frame.

Other than that descrepency, the frame looks to be extremely well made.  I can't wait to shoot a Glock without the slide ripping up my hand!

So wait, you can not use a3.5lb connector. You have to use "stock parts" per se?

Did you check the bend angle of the connector? It may not have been bent outward far enough from the trigger housing.

I'm not sure if it was made to use with a 3.5lb connector or not.  I just know I tried a Ghost 3.5 and a Glock Meister 3.5 and neither would bring the cruciform  enough to send the firing pin forward.  No instructions were supplied with the frame.  The stock 5lb connector FELT lighter than normal, but I don't have any way to measure trigger pull.

Lone Wolf supplies a proprietary Trigger Mechanism Housing that *MAY* hold the connector at a slightly different angle. I'm not too sure.  I love the grip angle and beaver tail though.  Only range time will tell.

As far as I know, Lone Wolf does not make their own trigger housings, they add an overtravel stop screw to a factory trigger housing.

The trigger housing supplied with the frame only fits the Timberwolf frame.

When the frames first came out they were advising people to use an SF trigger housing, pull the 10mm/45 ejector out of that housing and replace it with either a 9mm or .40 trigger housing. It's possible that they finally made their own trigger housing for their frames.

I thought it was for the Gen 4 Glocks... I use a factory 3.5 with no problems.
