Is CZ 85B same as 75B except with ambi controls?
I know they look same and use same mags.
Also, anybody know if CZ 85B in 40 S&W was sold in USA?

The wiki page https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/CZ_85 says this

The CZ 85 is an updated version of the CZ 75, with slight changes made to internal parts to increase reliability. It has an ambidextrous safety switch and slide stop, making the pistol suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters. CZ weapons are known for their long service life and high reliability while using various types of cartridges.

Even on the pre B models 75 and 85 was just ambi controls.  I imported from Germany in 90' both pre B 75/85s on Form 6s.

keep in mind both 75b and 85b can have old style (not swappable) or new style (switchable) mag catch buttons.

There were 2 versions:

The regular 85 was simply an ambi 75 or 75b

The CZ-85 Combat was one of CZ’s first attempts at a competition pistol for “combat pistol competition” (the very early name in the 1970s for the hat became IPSC, and later USPSA in the US and IPSC in the rest of the world.

Few key differences:

- overtravel stop trigger
- no magazine brake
- adjustable sights
- the longer beavertail from the SA model frame (some had lightening cuts while others did not)
- extended magazine release.

The 85 Combat was their gun for “Production Division” right up to the very first SP-01s.  I have one of the first SP-01s imported, for use by their US team for the world shoot.
