| I recently got the Performance Enhancing System and the Extended Guide Rod and Spring. After I mounted them on the slide I tried to put the slide back on the frame. I did oil the parts as instructed, however, the slide got stuck half way and I could not remove the slide by hand. I had to put a towel on the rear of the slide and I gently tapped the slide off. I removed the parts and sent the manufacturer an email about this. What do you guys think? Has anyone else had this same issue? |

I installed the Performance Enhancing System and the Extended Guide Rod and Spring on my GSG 1911 and everything works great... The groups are much tighter and the gun runs flawless... |
| I talked to the manufacturer and I was told to put the slide back on without the spring on the guide rod. The slide went on perfectly and then I installed the spring. The slide racks as it did before. The spring must have been binding the slide up after it had been installed the first time. |
| Buy the extended Guide rod and spring for sure. I also bought the performance enhancing system which consists of a new bushing and barrel spring plug. With the PES you no longer need the slide screw. I have to admit, the pistol shoots and reacts different with these mods. I thought the gun was accurate as it was, but the accuracy greatly improves. Its worth the money you will spend on it. Here's the link, CWA Accessories . |

Here's a few videos of GSG's with CW products

I have the recoil spring and extended guide rod, as well as a short and long base pad. The longer guide rod is nice, and I don't know how long the spring will last round count wise.
The base pads are nice, but I wish they made a medium size base pad that was longer than the short pad, and shorter than the long pad. In my opinion the long pad is too long, and the short is almost as long as a gun with an extended magwell on it. A medium size that is just a bit longer than the magwell would be perfect. Also, the reason I didn't go with a performance system is because I am thinking that running suppressed with the weight of a suppressor on the end of the barrel may affect reliability. My theory is due to possibly increased friction between the barrel, and bushing. |

Quoted:
The barrel is fixed and the weight of my SS Sparrow has not affected mine in the least through the first case (5k) of ammo I have run through it to date. Are you using the standard barrel configuration, or this "Performance enhancing kit" by CW Accessories? I was referring to running suppressed with this aftermarket kit. |

Just bought the performance enhancement kit from cw its runs fine with my element havent tried with the heavier sparrow yet. |
