Hey folks, after a long hiatus I am getting back into shooting. Waiting on my stamp for a SBR build and was on a mission to find a 9mm pistol.  I shot a dozen 9's and realized I wanted a full size steel gun. I took one last trip to the range - the salesman was relentlessly praising CZ.  I gave in and shot a 75B that they had in their rental inventory. It only took one mag ...

I gave it back to him and shot the rest of the guns one last time. I put about 30 rounds through the Beretta just to make sure- nope.

I honestly couldn't believe how good the CZ felt and shot.

I can't wait till she's in my hands!

It feels like I was just let in on a huge secret! These guns could sell for much more in my opinion...

I am envious of some of the tricked out guns in this forum, yikes!

CZ sp01/75s are a hidden gem here in the US. Overseas they are a lot more popular. My gf bought one for USPSA and it makes me want to give up my G34 and jump ship. I just hate DA trigger pulls so I'd have to run it in limited.

I actually like the DA pull on my CZ 75BD and SP01.  It's smooth compared to Sigs I had in the past.  CZ's just feel right to me and I've tried almost every pistol out there it seems and nothing feels or compares to CZ IMO.

Its so true. Its not that CZ is underrated, they just arent marketed very well. People I know who shoot my CZ love it, and they are surprised when they hear the price. My first CZ was the CZ82 Surplus, and it has been a gem. Mine has a fabulous DA trigger pull, and is extremely accurate, and is a great shooter and carry piece.

My second CZ was a CZ75B, which has been the most Out-Of-the-Box Accurate handgun Ive ever shot. I fired my first three shots aiming dead center, and all hit and made one big circle. I was so excited. At first I thought I was always just a marginal shooter, or that I couldnt aim, or it was the gun, or all three. Either way, its easy to point, easy to aim, and is accurate as hell.

I also have a CZ 2075 RAMI which is an awesome carry gun, takes 75B mags, and is very accurate too. CZ knows what they are doing, and Im looking forward to future releases.

+1.  My SP01 is a complete tack driver.  It'd be my go-to gun, but that honor goes to my G19 since I can't carry the SP01 IWB :(

I love my SP01 Tactical in .40.  My dad liked it enough to order one in 9mm.  They are fantastic guns that I think are way under appreciated in the states.

My first CZ was the 82 earlier this year.  Then I got the SP01.  Just picked up a CZ 75 Compact clone (Canik 55 C-100) in 9mm last week.  It's great too.

Wanted to give you a guys an update on the Comp hammer and #13 mainspring install -

Wow, what a difference. Double pull is long but noticeable lighter and the SA pull is like butter.

Shot a box of 124gr Winchester 9mm NATO today and put a full mag into one fist size ragged hole. Offhand at 7yds - its as good as it get for me.

I took a few of very deliberate shots and boy it was like a lazer, right on the money

A ran the rest of the box at 25 yds and had all the rounds in the bad guys chest.

I have a #11 recoil spring that I'll swap out once I stock up of some good 115gr range ammo. For now I am going to grap a couple hundred more rounds of that Win 9mm NATO, 12.99 at my local gun shop.

Also, big props to Pedro Ortiz in Savannah (Ortiz Custom Guns).  He did the hammer swap for me in a day -
