I bought a kadet off the EE and went to put it on my 75 frame.

Ive got 4 other full size CZs but it wont fit the frame it want to use it on.

It wants to bind up about here. It fits (and fires) fine on the stainless frame in the pic. (but i dont want to use it on that gun)
Any suggestions? its not to the fitting lugs on the front.

Try pulling the trigger while you are sliding it on. Generally does the trick

That didnt help any, BUT i decided to "love" it a bit harder and it fit reluctantly.

There's another piece that typically needs fitted, the lug under the chamber area.

Sounds like you're good to go anyway, but I can take a pic of it if you want to file it.

The Kadet kit I acquired came with instructions for fitting and this would have been required for it to be used on any off mine with the exception of the Omega.   With a few gentle taps with a rubber mallet, it fit and functions perfectly.

Sorry, missed this reply.

Here are a couple of pics. That lip on the barrel lug is there for that reason. I have three Kadet kits. Some fit on certain guns without fitting, some didn't. I typically only use two these days anyway, and I use them both on the same pistol for different purposes. At one time I had a spreadsheet for which Kadets fit on which pistols. I experimented with them all before deciding which one to send off to be fitted with a threaded adapter.
