| I haven't shot either of these guns, however I've seen them both and held the XD in the hand. I think it feels nice. They do make the XD in .45 now, you just might have to look a little harder. Also, just something to think about...I read an artical where a guy did a 20,000 round test on the XD under some pretty extreme conditions and he didn't have a single failure. He even ran a 1,000 round Glock test on the gun (i don't know if you know what that is but it basically amounds to freezing then gun, droping it in water, filling it with mud and all that good stuff) at somewhere around 17,000 rounds through the gun and there still wasn't any failure. I'd say that makes a darn reliable weapon. I'd feel comfortable putting my life on the line with that gun. It will be my next handgun purchase. |

You do know the XD is available in .45, right? Don't know how it compares to the Kahr .45 for ease of carry, but other posters are saying it fits Glock 19 leather, so it should be close. Just a thought. I carry a Kahr PM9, and it's hard to beat. Can even be carried in the front pocket easily. |

I've owned three Kahrs and two XD's. I've never had a problem with any of them. However since they were all considered for carry I only kept what felt right. The XD's were just too chunky and square feeling for what I was looking for in a sub-compact pistol. I currently own one Kahr and have sold all my XD's. I will never part with the Kahr. |

There is an article this month in Shotgun News about the new Kahr .45. They had good things to say about it for what that's worth. I own a PM9 and it's a great gun. I've put about 800 rounds through it without a problem. Most of it was ball but have shot HP through it without a problem. My carry load is Georgia Arms 124 grn Gold Dots. |

. I have no problem carryin it inside the waistband, but it is the only pistol i have ever concealed so i have nothin to compare it to. If you are going for pure conceal...i would go with the micro kahr.
