Who makes Kel-tec mags?  I have seen some that say Meggar on them but have also seen Promag.  Anyone have any experience with the promags?  Is one of these manufacturers the OE maker for them?
Thanks for any help.

Mec-Gar makes the magazines that Kel-Tec uses.  That would be my first choice if I was buying more.  A local dealer had one of the Promag (or whatever the brand name was, as far as I know, it's the only other company that makes them besides Mec-Gar) magazines on display.  The metal the mag body was made out of was so thin, as he showed, that when you hit the bottom of the mag, the feedlips expanded outward enough to allow the spring to push the front of the top round partially out of the mag.  He did say that he had customers that prefered the Promag, because it was noticeably lighter.  In my opinion, I don't think that's worthwhile trade-off for reliability.  Buy the Mec-Gar.  Despite all of the major problems I've seen with Kel-Tec pistols, not one of them did I think was caused by the magazine.z
