I have a Kimber Eclipse Custom II 10mm. The gun is okay, but I'm having a hard time with the sights that came with the gun. They are the fixed sight nite-sights that come with standard with Kimbers. The sights don't seem to shoot point of aim, and hit to low (with all types of loads). I am having a very hard with the HUGE white outlines around the nite-site vials. The white circles draw my eyes (which are already old and bad) away from the front sight. I am used to either straight black sights, Heinie sights, or Trijicons. Anyone have any advice on removing or covering up the huge white outlines on the Kimber nite-sites? I want to try to go the cheap route first before I spring for a new set of Heinies. I hope getting a cleaner sight picture may help me to get the gun to shoot better. Thanks, 220ST |
