I saw one in my local armorers display case, and it seems to want to come home with me. It's $1610, and that's no chump change. http://www.kimberamerica.com/Custom_Shop_Pistols.htm The 'target' provided by Kimber showed a group at 25yds, the size of a silver dollar, with all holes centered at .7in from each other; quite an impressive grouping. Does anyone have any experience with Kimber in general, or this model specifically? I've heard some 1911s are finicky, FTF, need a lot of 'break-in' etc. Galco also makes a nice leather paddle holster, so it might replace my G32/.357sig as a carry piece. Any opinions? |
