I have come across a Stainless Classic 11 at a rather good price, is this a good, reliable autopistol ?

IMO, If it is a "newer" II w/ an IE than I say "yes", buy it for a good price. If it is the "earleir" EE model than it could be a 50/50 situation. Maybe it functioned flawlessly so it never had the slide/EE replaced or it did not function flawlessly and it needs to be returned to Kimber.....? I have owned quite a few Kimbers, still own (4) and I will buy more in the future. But I will not buy anymore IIs w/ External Extractors!!! My last two would not function reliably. Some still swear by their IIs w/ EE, thats great that they got a good one. I never had any issues w/ my Kimbers until the IIs w/ EE so thats my $.02. |
