Has anyone put a boot grip on their LCR? If you have please let me know your pros and cons of it.

Put one on my LCR .357. Surprisingly easy to shoot using regular .38 loads (i.e., non +P), especially given how little purchase you have on the grip. I wasn't man enough to try +P .38 or .357 loads out of it. 
Did a light stipple on the grip using a soldering iron, which seemed to help a bit as well. Much easier to conceal when carrying AIWB or pocket-carrying. I use the regular Hogue Tamer grip if it's my primary and I'm carrying it strong side with full-house .357 loads. |
