What is everyone putting on the LCR for a better front sight, any recommendations along with a price would be greatly appreciated.

I paint all my revolver front sights w/ Testers Gloss Orange. Save your money for ammo!

When you paint the front sight, does it run off the sides?

I have painted several sights with Testors paint. I use cotton swabs to wick up any paint that may start to run. The best way is to apply several thin layers.

No. I CCW a snubby with white painted on the black front sight and it is still in great shape. The sight is not smooth. Make sure to prep.
