I've been eyeing a LNIB P239 at the local gun store. It is in great condition and has a $500 price tag. How is this price, worth it? Too much?

Thanks for any help!

I bought mine private party in mint condition with the SIG case, 3 mags (2 8rd, 1 10rd), manual, and trigger lock for $525.  Sounds like you'll get my deal after taxes.  Go for it!

Here in Wa at a particular Gun shop, new P239's in 9mm go for $519.
for .40 and .357sig, they typically run $529.

Prices may have increased somewhat, but this dealer tends to keep his firearms discounted from what the other local guys are doing.

Used is Used.  Like the automobile.  I wouldn't pay over 450.00.  Here in Texas at the gun shows you can find NIB for under 500.00

Can you send me info on some of these gun shows? I live in Austin, and the only show I'm really aware of is the Saxet show, which hasn't proven to be the most impressive....

The last 2 I purchased (one in march, one in aug) I paid $400/$425 for them
They are 40sw and both are LNIB ($400 has NS/ $425 didn't)

Purchased both locally.

You could have done a little better, but you still got a great pistol at a great price.  Enjoy it!
