Anybody use one? Issues? Before everyone goes apeshit and says "the Glock doesn't need a safety", "my finger is my safety", "the holster is the safety", I agree. I've carried my Glocks for years, in a holster. However, I've just started using my G19 as a nightstand gun, and I have a small issue with the fact that it's not in a holster, and if I have to grab it in the dark in a hurry, I could possibly foresee grabbing it in such a way as to fire it. If I put it in my sidearmor rig, it's gonna take two hands to free it. If I leave the chamber empty, it's gonna take two hands to charge it (I can do it with one, but not really fast). I know this is probably a highly unlikely scenario, but If someone would get into my bedroom without my 3 dogs waking me up, I might already be in contact with an intruder and only be able to just get to the gun, let alone bring it to bear if it's in a holster, or in condition two. |
