I changed out the grips again (for the fifth time) on my TRP Op as well as the trigger.  First of all I couldn't figure out why Springfield would offer a "blacked-out gun" with a silver trigger that stood out like a sore thumb.  I changed it out for a black McCormack that is double adjustable (both take-up and over travel).  I also installed a set of Larry Davidson grips in desert tan made of G10.  These things are sweeeet.  The fit and finish are the best I have seen so far and the grip to mag well junction has absolutely zero daylight showing.  The serrations give you plenty of grip without being sharp and in fact you can wear it all day for CCW (if you don't mind the weight) and still be comfortable.  I also changed out the trigger.  I could never figure out why Springfield offered a "blacked-out gun" and installed a silver trigger being the only non black part.  I replaced it with a McCormack two way adjustable trigger and am very happy.

Please excuse the bad pics as I took them at 7:15 pm.

That combo looks nice... I kicked around the idea of light colored grips.

I need to do something with my trigger, too. It sticks out like a sore thumb.
