Are there any for around 2k, and are they really that difficult to produce?

Get any 1911 with an ambi thumb safety and a reverse mag release.  Voila, a lefty 1911.

Stainless Left Handed Randall Model  only one I know of.

You better off adding a ambi safety and using your trigger (or middle) finger to eject magazines.

Face it no market for Southpaws. If you are right eye dom, learn to shoot Right handed, it can be done.

I think Cabot was building one but 2k won't even get you into the same zip code.

I'm looking at a STI spartan when I get my CCW. I'll for sure look into getting one of those if I can't find a left for a reasonable price, or find someone to make one.

Found it for $125
