Alright, I've been using a Beretta as a car gun. I keep it in my center console.

I have two questions,

1. If I expose the pistol for moments in my car within a parking lot where no one can see me, so that I can conceal it to bring home, am I breaking a law? (It's possible that one of these days someone from their balcony might get a quick gaze.)

2. Is it legal to leave my pistol in the car when leaving it with Valet parking? I normally don't do this but I have forgotten once or twice.

BTW, I'm in Florida if that helps

I would imagine that sort of handling does not constitute brandishing.  Brandishing (in many but not all cases) tends to involve the threat of firing a weapon by displaying the weapon.

Simply moving it from your car console to your concealed holster does not constitute brandishing.

As for forgetting it with Valet... you're looking at some serious shit if it gets stolen by the minimum wage bum who sells it to the local drug dealer for a hundred bucks... now you've got a weapon "on the streets" so to speak.

Sounds good, I'll take it out every time then.
