I just picked this up from the dealer last night... and I'll be giving it away on Christmas morning. I can't believe I didn't take a picture of it before I wrapped it! But, in this box are a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum revolver (used but LNIB), two boxes of .44 Magnum ammunition, and a .44 Magnum Lee 3-die reloading set. My dad is going to have a good Christmas. My mother might give birth to a cow. The looks on both their faces will be priceless!

While not all that recent, this is my last purchase. I haven't bought a handgun since March of '09.....
...the HORROR!!!! 
I liked it for it's thinness... 
...but I really think that this is it's best side.

holy shit, that's awesome. I'm only around 1200 rounds though the FNP (zero malfunctions) in about a month but that's some badass reliability from the HK. Maybe I'll still pick one up some day, I do love .45

My latest addition, and the second Taurus in a row, after my sweet 24/7 OSS .45.
I traded for this off the EE: 
A twenty-odd year-old AF model in very nice condition. I fired one of these many moons ago, and compared to the Beretta 92FS I used to own, this is the better pistola, control-wise. Frame-mounted safety, and I can carry it cocked and locked. It should be in my sweaty paws next week. |
