As soon as I get back from the desert I intend to buy the XD45 compact as my carry. I'm a big fan of weapon mounted lights, but I want one that wont extend too far beyond the barrel.
If anyone knows of a good light that doesn't stick out too far, I'd appreciate your input. Thanks |

TLR-3 its a great BRIGHT light for the money...i have on my XDm9 full size i removed the locking lug (that catches in the diagonal grove) so i can quickly remove the light if i need to..thier are just so many more reasons to have this option then not. sure this and a few others are fairly easy to remove but not as your on target...only down side is if your holster carrying..which i dont...my set up is for the 'nitestand'...just something to chew on. Thank you for your service!! should note i use a nickle to tighten down the light so its very locked on....but even so all it takes is a good push pull of the pistol to slide right off. |
