| Man, I might have bitch hands but this is crazy, 7 rounds in on my 10 round mag and I feel like I will start crushing rounds before I can get them into the mag. Is there some special trick to this or do I just need to grow a pair of balls? |

Man, I might have bitch hands but this is crazy, 7 rounds in on my 10 round mag and I feel like I will start crushing rounds before I can get them into the mag. Is there some special trick to this or do I just need to grow a pair of balls? Every Glock I've owned always gives me trouble on the last round. I started out putting one less round than the magazine called for but now I jam that sucker in there. I bought a few 22 round mags for my G27 and once I hit like 17 it was hard as hell. I think we're just too womanly. |
| New Glock magazine springs are notoriously stiff at first. Load to capacity (or to where you can), unload, rinse and repeat. Store the magazine full for a while and the spring should "break in" and you'll be able to load that last round in. This has been the case with every Glock mag I've owned. |
| LULA is what you seek. New Glock mags are really hard to load to capacity the first dozen or so times until they break in a little. I'm guessing since you mentioned 10 round mags that you are talking about G26 mags. My G26 mags were by far the hardest to load when new. |

another +1 for UpLula.
Also try smacking the mags spine against your thigh or a hard surface with a wrist flicking motion. Same with the floorplate on the heel of your hand or on a solid surface. Sometimes this helps to "seat" the rounds in the mag so they line up properly. |
