This is just a hunch i noticed and so have most of you the long trigger pull on them do you
think its because they have no safety just to be a little safer gun to carry that way. I don't know at all if this is why just making a assumption whats your opinion? |

I don't know at all if this is why just making a assumption whats your opinion? FOR SURE it is because they have no safety other than the 3/8" pull on the trigger. It takes as you well know some rounds down ragne to shoot a kahr as accurate as maybe your Glock or others with a much shorter trigger pull , but most of those have some type of external safety to. Kahrs trigger system is looooong but totally smooth. I have never shot a smoother trigger system. but I will admit I shoot my G19 alot better than either of my two kahrs due to the short vs loooong trigger system.. they are defense guns, not target guns and IMO kahr build that into their system design. They have 8 patents on their guns, . Their trigger system being one of them. I would not want without some type of external safety a trigger system as hairy as the Glock or even worse the Smith M & P system. both are super shooters over my kahrs but neither can ride in my front pocket with ease like my PM9 can. I shoot my PM9 (for me anhow) very accurate from 10 yeards and under... |

Yes it is a very nice weapon anyway for self defence i most likely wont be shooting for accuracy I'm guessing i will be emptying my mag as fast as i can.
POA Point of Aim shooting is what I find best for 10 yards and under shooting. It is fast, it is still accurte for a man's size target, Won't bust bottle caps but will do great in a fast defense scenario. I think that is why Ilike the Big Dot sites. I see that front site instantly, Don't care aboutt the back site, as it us usually very close to where I would want it anyway. POA is a good way to practice defense shooting... |
