Looking for a holster for my 1911 longslide. I am looking for leather owb.

Any holster that has an open bottom will fit.
Your draw will be different to clear the longer barrel so a holster that rides lower will work better.
I've used serpas and safarilands after dremeling the bottoms to clear the longer barrel with good success.

The only reason I am looking for one is that I am running a full size with a comp installed and I want to protect it. It is not my carry weapon but I do like to take it to the hunting camp and range sometimes...

Have carried a 7" before and noticed one time the barrel an inch or so longer than my shirt.

Gamers holster. no protection.

Maybe a Kydex holster manuf can mold you one for a few bucks.

email bladetech, I see they do 6" SVIs. Maybe they could put a blocker in the mold to your overall length.

Try a company called "Simply Rugged", I have a few of their holsters and I like them. Should be able to do what you're looking for.

op you just reminded me i still want an amt hardballer longslide.

EDIT: found an el cheapo on GB, but unfortunately they only have a generic picture.

its something that i would have as part of the collection. i want it because its called "hardballer" and it was the terminators gun

i know these are not good reasons to purchase a firearm, but to each his own

I have one, bought with several others on E-Bay years ago. It is a Price Western, made in England.

It is OWB, very heavy construction, high quality. A 6" longslide would fit. I have used it to carry a comped 1911 before.

So, they are out there. Just have to find one.
