So I am in the market for a BUG and wanted to get some suggestions.

Will probobly be worn in an ankle rig.
Revolver or automatic is ok.
Want Something I can take to the range and shoot and not have to worry too much about the round count.

Right now Im looking at the Kahr PM9093

An suggestions or Comments?

I'm looking for one as well.  I think I would go with a snubby revolver over a small auto for reliability.

I carry a PM9 as BUG and I love the little weapon. A J-frame has far too many negatives, IMO.

I was looking at the small taurus titanium .38's

they are smaller in size than the Kahr, but weigh in at more.

thanks for the input on the Kahr PM9

The Ti Tauri would be a good choice among currently produced guns. I'd also suggest a pre-integral lock S&W J-frame or, best of all IMO, a Colt D-frame. They're marginally larger than a J but carry a sixth round and have infinitely better trigger actions. Here's a pic of my own Colt Magnum Carry.

I'd take a little Smith or a Ruger SP-101 over most of those mini-autos, at least the ones I've had the opportunity to inspect / shoot.

5 shots of .38 or .357 ain't too shabby.

A kel-tec P32 or P3AT is the perfect pocket carry for pants.  For coat pocket you can go for something larger like a revolver or a small 9mm.  Mine is P32 and coat pocket a P11.

If you go with the Taurus be sure to get one that has a flush hammer.

The DAO ones are a bit harder to shoot IMO.

I've got a 851SSUL and like it.
