I picked up a used G21.  It fired great.  But one thing I noticed after about 50 rounds, the Locking Block Pin was protruding out of the side of the gun.  I don't mean a little bit but it had moved out 1/2 an inch.  I pushed it back in and it worked fine.

I was wondering if this part is worn and needs replacement?  I would think it would take some type of "punch" to install it and not just push it with my finger.

Any thoughts?

Top pin or bottom pin?  Or is it a two pin frame and not a three pin frame?  If it's a three pin frame and it's the top pin that's walking out, I *think* one end of the little spring for the slide stop fits into a groove on the pin to hold it in place (can't remember??).

Regardless, if it's a used gun I would prolly detail strip the pistol and look everything over.  Glockmeister has some brief but useful dissasembly info.  I guess it's brief cause it's so damn simple!

This was a common problem at one time. There was an older style locking block pin used on earlier model Glocks. The newer style pin is slightly larger in diameter at each end and has corrected the problem of the pin walking out. This may be the case with yours. I would however call Glock service and give then the S/N of your pistol and explain to them what has happened, or, if you know of a Glock Armorer in your area, have him check the pistol out.
