Is the M11A1 different from the M11-A1 SIG lists in their website somehow?

A few people have said they bought one, but nobody has said if they like it or not. Do you like your M11-A1? Have one, and yes, like it. What else do you want to know about it? It's a Sig, it's been 100% reliable, as accurate as I am, it's the same size of a P228 but everyone will say it's not a P228 and just a well-marketed P229 and then bash Sig marketing and how you should wait for a "real" P228" or buy a P229 for less money...But the guys that have them? No one's complaining and they all love them from what I've seen. If you have a P226 (or at least shot one) as your name would suggest, you already know how great Sigs can be. All the Sigs I've ever used or owned have been great handguns and functioned flawlessly, be them W. German or newer manufacture. The M11A1 has been no different for me. I do prefer the standard Sig trigger over the SRT in the M11a1 simply because I feel like I can control my pull better, but not so much that I feel like I need to swap it out. Other than that, she's been flawless and her and I get frequent range dates, but probably not near as many as we should. |

I got a M11a1 a couple of months ago. I've only shot about 200 rounds through it (damn I hate winter), but so far I've had no problems. We'll see how she does with a higher round count but thus far I'm pleased.
I've always loved the grip of the sig 22X series of handguns. They fit my hand better than any other make of handguns. Next on the list for me is a 229 scorpion in 9mm for the magazine commonality with the M11a1 if nothing else. |

When I'm not carrying my 1911 I carry my black M11-A1 with Trijicon HD sights. Picked up a FDE M11-A1 and a FDE MK25 Saturday, both with HD sites.
One I sort out holster issues, I'll carry them as well Never had any trouble out of any Sig I picked up. Took a new shooter out last week, she started with my G19 and did OK, we switched to my black MK25 and she drilled everything she shot at. She sat it down and said " That s MY gun" Just glad it WASN'T my wife or that would have been truthful |
