Hey everyone, had a question regarding a little maintenance. The dots on my work gun are worn completely off. This creates some problems for me in in low conditions. Anyone have any experience in "refurbishing" them or something along those lines. I was going to just grab a white paint marker and have at it, but I figured I'd ask here to see if you guys had an suggestions for a better course of action.

Thanks

I have touched up white gun sights on many guns over the years.

Get some acrylic white testors model paint. And, a needle.

Dip the needle into the paint after ya shake it up.

Practice on a papertowel a few times. Ya want one good drop to drip off after ya get the little dribbles to come off the needle.

Put the needle over the depression of the sight and let 1 drop fall.

If ya mess it up, use some of that testors paint remover on a cloth, and try again.

After ya get them all like ya want, let the slide sit for an hour or two standing up. and, good to go.

Pretty much just as Shipwreck has said. Just becareful with certain cleaners. I got some Gun Scrubber on my sights after I redid them with model paint and it took it right off.
