I plan to buy a MK23 in the near future, I realize the B&T would be the correct can but i am torn between that and the Obsidian as far as sound reduction. If anyone has shot both of these cans on a MK23 I would like to know which one you prefer/recommend. Thanks.

I use an old TiRant 45 (full-size) on mine and it’s awesome. I had the CCF clone of B&T’s Impuls-IIA (which looks just like the one B&T sells now) and it was noticeably louder, so I wouldn’t recommend the B&T. I think B&T’s cans are louder in general than most makes. The old school KAC OHG is also relatively loud (and heavy).
