I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with holsters that will attach to a MOLLE system like a chest rig or plate carrier. I've found a few on the interwebz (spectre gear, Eagle Industries, Blackhawk) but was wondering if anyone had any particularly good or bad experiences with one.

A few things;
1.) Safariland makes a MOLLE adapter that bolts onto their kit to make it MOLLE compatible, granted a kydex holster on your chest might be a bit bulky. Blackhawk's SERPA does the same thing if you like that format instead 2.) be careful with muzzle alignment. I've seen people carry their blackhawk SERPA's high on their chest with the barrel parallel to the ground, while easy to access, your flagging everyone standing next to you. 3.) a regular, plain Jane 2 magazine Velcro closure magazine pouch works great to hold a large frame pistol with a tac light attached. I also believe that tactical tailor makes one as well in nylon. I like this one a lot because the MOLLE tape wraps around the entire holster so you can easily switch it around on your vest easily as well as lace in a pouch or two on top of it. This is extra nice if your left handed as you just need 'the holster' rather than waiting for something that may or may not be in stock when you order it.
