purchased a glock 17 gen4 today been wanting one for a while finally broke down and give inn! tom im gonna feed it 500 rounds og umc to see what all the fuss is about... the odd thing is the spring isn't stamped with a # so i dont know what to expect. If it doesn't eat the umc i'll feed it something else

Sick child for past couple of weekends has prevent a range trip for me. I don't know whether I can still consider mine a "virgin" with all of the dry firing that I've put her through.. Now I've read just a little about recoil spring numbers and now you mentioned that yours was not stamped. Guess I need to do a little more reading, but I will say that my recoil spring is stamped with a 012. Now I'm not concerned at all about this new pistol, just curious what the number means? |

I guess im lucky in the fact that i just step on to my back porch and let'em eat. spring in this one has me curious too cause every thing i've seen has been stamped! It has ate 500rds of umc without a flaw i will stop at walmart tom and get some real cheap stuff to see what happens, as of now the only problem i have is playing with the grip sizes
