Is it correct that some M&P pistols come equipped with a magazine disconnect from the factory? If so, is it possible to remove them? Is there any way to tell (externally/visually) other than trying to pull the trigger with the magazine out?

Yes, some M&P's come with a mag disconnect. Mine did. It is possible to remove it.
Here is the instructions: http://www.burwellgunsmithing.com/M&P2.htm The only visual way to tell if it has it or not is to look at the right side of the slide. If it has a warning in white lettering then it doesnt have it and if there is no warning at all then it does have it. |
